What did Fitmate help you achieve?
The biggest thing is that Fitmate helped me set up goals for myself, and keep those goals so they are now habits in my life. I am drinking enough water, getting enough activity throughout the day, exercising a certain amount of times a week, eating high protein breakfasts - things like that, which at one point were goals and now they are habits in my life. They are things I do everyday without even thinking of them. That’s what I wanted when I started Fitmate.

What did you enjoy about your program?
I really like the fact that the coaches check in on a regular basis sometimes more than once a day to make sure that you're doing the things that you said you'd do whether that's your exercise program or your meal plan. There are times that you get a bit carried away with work or family and you forget the goals that you have so it's nice to have that reminder. They remind you quite gently but its good to know that they're there routing for you.

What problem were you facing when trying to achieve your health goal?
I have tried some other programs before but they didn't seem to stick. They were not sustainable and I was going in and out of programs not seeing much result. I was looking for a plan that would allow me to achieve my desired results and I needed something flexible enough to work with my schedule. It was important for me to have results that were achieved in a healthy way, and results that would be sustainable.

How has Fitmate coach been different from other programs you’ve tried in the past?
I have ended the diet–binge–guilt cycle that only led to more disordered eating and gradually eroded my health and my ability to eat moderately. My coach helps me handle challenging circumstances deftly and with nuance, so I no longer swing from one extreme to the other.
